What exactly happens in a Roots Conversation Session?
A Roots Session is a facilitated conversation — usually 90 minutes — where a Hearthand coordinator guides your family through a structured but relaxed discussion. The aim is to surface shared values and address everyday misunderstandings in a calm environment. There is no fixed script and nothing is recorded without your consent.
Is this a substitute for professional counselling or therapy?
No — Hearthand provides facilitation, education, and organisational support. We are not qualified practitioners and do not offer mental health services, counselling, or any form of clinical support. If your family needs professional input, we are happy to point you toward appropriate resources in Phuket.
How long does the Family Care Coordination Programme run?
The programme typically runs over three months, with regular check-in reviews scheduled at a pace that suits your family. During this time we help you build and maintain an organised system for schedules, contacts, and shared family records, with gentle reminders and reviews along the way.
Who are the Growing Together Workshops suitable for?
Workshops are open to any family group — couples with young children, adult siblings coordinating care for elderly parents, or blended households navigating new routines. The format adapts to the number of people attending and their practical priorities.
How is payment handled and are sessions refundable?
Payment is made in Thai Baht (฿) ahead of each session or programme. If you need to reschedule, we ask for at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations with sufficient notice can be credited to a future session. Full details are outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
Can sessions be held in English and Thai?
Yes — our coordinators work comfortably in both English and Thai, and mixed-language sessions are welcome. We want every family member to feel heard in the language they are most comfortable with.
